Rachel Stafford began dancing at the age of 3 in Boston, Massachusetts, and continued her training upon moving to Raleigh, North Carolina. She has received training through the University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and attended summer intensives with the Joffrey Ballet and Carolina Ballet as a full scholarship recipient. She graduated from the University of South Carolina in 2017, Magna Cum Laude, with a BA in Dance Performance and Choreography and a minor in Business Administration. Here she performed various roles in works by George Balanchine and others under the instruction of Stacey Calvert. Currently, Rachel dances professionally with the US International Ballet company and participates in performances in the Wilmington area. She has recently found a love for ballroom dance as well and is excited to be sharing her passion of dance with others.
